Feria Hispana

Friday, May 9 5:30-7:30pm

This evening celebrates your students work with a focus on the arts.

Come see displays of art work and live musical presentations.

Four food trucks have been scheduled to be there during the event (cash or card accepted).

Yearbook Signing & NNO

Friday, May 23, 4-9pm

Peter Piper Pizza on Baseline & McClintock

Come celebrate the ending of another school year and give students the chance to get and sign their yearbooks.

It is not guaranteed we will have extra yearbooks in stock. Secure yours today and pre-order your yearbook.

Attendance not required to obtain pre-ordered yearbooks, ones not picked up this night will be delivered to the student's classroom.

School supply kits are back! Skip the trips to the store and order a fully stocked supply kit custom designed by your teacher for next year! Pricing includes Free ship to home in time for school.

Garden Gratitude

We are so excited to announce that the Native Habitat Garden has been 90% planted!

Special thanks to:

- 5th Grade: Every interested student planted at least one native plant, digging with pick axes and shovels and then setting the irrigation!

- Desert Botanical Garden: for plants, specifically a large variety of milkweed and pollinators you can't find anywhere

- Desert Tree Farm: Wholesale nursery who donated native plants

- Treeland Nursery: Retail nursery who donated native plants

- Murphy's Trees: Arborist/Owner/Parent Drew Murphy donated and planted a large Palo Verde

- Valley Scapes: Owner/Parent Jose Cardenas for fixing an irrigation issue and donating his crew the day before Thanksgiving to help plant the last of the plants!

- Parents: Thank you to all the parents who have volunteered to help oversee planting, dig holes, set irrigation, and water at odd hours!

The garden is a native habitat, that means many plants are sharp, please continue to keep students on paths and remind them to enjoy the plants from a safe distance as they learn about the beauty of our desert habitat ;)

There are two primary goals of the WATCH D.O.G.S. program:

To provide positive male role models for the students, demonstrating by their presence that education is important.

To provide extra sets of eyes and ears to enhance school security and reduce bullying.
